YAARRR!!!!
I just arrived in pyeong chon.
this is my first time in korea and i cant tell the woods from the trees.
i havent seen or met any foreigners here. where is everybody?
Does anyone know a great place to go for a drink where i can meet
fellow foreigners? (preferably in my area.)
i stay very close to a subway station not sure how to spell but i think its
called byom gee.
ALSO. i am gravely concerned that i am gonna miss out on the super 14
and the cricket world cup!!
Does anybody know where i can watch some of the games?

I am not in Pyeongchon, but welcome anyway. It will take awhile to get use to things. The best way to get around in the beginning is to remember landmarks.
I've been here three years and had plenty of adventures. I'm planning on leaving in three months. I can tell you sometimes you'll miss home, but with time you'll adjust.
Good luck! |

Seoul.
Heh, sorry. Hang in the strip near... I think... Sanbon Station. A lot of times the teachers in Ansan will head up there for a change of pace. Or you can head down to Handaeap or Sangnoksu Stations and look around for whities.
But, you're close enough to Seoul to make an evening of it. |
