Every few months, the students have to perform plays/dramas. Well, the director's wife wrote a couple of them, but here's the messed up part: she barely knows any English. (She's just there to do admin, really.)

The spelling, syntax, punctuation, and grammar were absolutely horrible, so my coworker took the kids' plays and corrected them. The director got mad at my coworker because the director's wife's feelings got hurt. So what happened? The director and his wife edited the plays so that they're back to the original bad English-e way.

So tonight's the night where the whole school gets to watch all the plays. I won't be able to watch with a straight face.

God. And I bet it's never occurred to these people once that they shouldn't be educators.
