For an animal which more or less built the New Zealand economy, dressed our citizens in their fine wool products, carpeted our homes and fed our families, sheep carry surprisingly little respect.
Hopefully this movie will do something to raise the status of sheep in NZ. I've always found it frustrating how people refer to sheep as stupid. I mean sure, they run head first into walls and fences when you chase them and follow their friends into swamps and gulleys when agitated but thats just herd instinct.
