Please tell me everything you know about getting an E-2 Korean work visa in Thailand. I am going in 3 weeks and I need some quick info.

1)Does the school need to deal with the Thai immigration long beforehand?
2)How many days does it take to process once I am there?
3)Where is the office?
4)What is the procedure?
5)Some other stuff I didn't think of....

I should book my flight this week. But, first I'm trying to make sure this will be relativily problem free.

Thanks a million to all who help! Cheers!

1) the school does not have to worry about Thai immigration. You should get a 30 day stamp on arrival.
2) it is usually an overnight affair.
3) Out in the sticks. Directions are in the sticky (link below)

I did it in Thailand and it was a very shady business --- the guy took my passport and my paperwork (wouldn't even let me in the door) and put it in his coat pocket and told me to come back the next day, then he disappeared behind the door. Luckily everything turned out fine - I think the cost was about 1500 baht, but that was over 2 years ago.
