Hello Everyone!
I'm working with a recruiter as well as trying to find jobs on my own and I've been presented with possible position near Cheolsan Station. I think that this is the Gwangmyeong area.
It's a public school position - which I'm really excited about, and this would be my first time coming to teach in Korea.
Does anyone know this area? Are there pros and cons I should be aware of?
My reasearch so far has really only told me what subway line it's on and not much else. I was hoping for a position convienent to Seoul nightlife and a location that would allow me to do a lot of exploring convienently. I'd also love to have something like Homeplus or E-Mart or something similar in the area.
Thanks for your help

Oh. I forgot to add, Chelosan station is on line 7 on the Seoul Subway.
I hope everyone is having a good monday over there. Or will have one, since it's just starting. |

Cheolson. Not a bad area. But a long azz subway ride to centre Seoul. But then again, maybe I was spoiled...I guess it was only 30-40 minutes...but train is packed and you gotta stand up. Its a typical area of Seoul, everything looks the same. I wouldn't live there though. |

Is the reason you wouldn't live there simply because it's nothing special?
I'm not sure if I should focus on getting this job (because it has super vacation days!) or if I should look for something closer to central Seoul. |
