I'm bored as hell in Korea. I need a new hobby. Something interesting and fun.
What do you recommend?
(I've done TKD, Kumdo, Muy Thai, etc). No more of that kicking crap. |

How about zen meditation (soen meditation, in Korean)? I began seriously doing it and reading about it four years ago and now I don't need any other entertainment than 'just sitting' and enjoying the richness of life, the universe and everything.
A good place to start is http://www.mro.org/zmm/teachings/meditation.php
Why shop any place else?
And as you're in Korea, you may well be able to find some actual Buddhists of one kind or another to practice with. Bonus!

practise singing like some koreans who go to no-rae-bahngs by themselves regularly and really give it all they've got in there all by him/herself in preparation for that night when s/he goes there with a group of ppl.

I got my TKD black belt back at the end of December 2005. I started running the following February. I'm running my first marathon this April.
Running was something that I fell into but I absolutely love the challenge of trying to beat my best time and the feeling of getting stronger.
But it's not for everyone. Hope you find a new hobby real soon |

don't be a stupid loser. go to church and try to make a personal relationship with Christ. a personal relationship is believing Jesus was who He said, following his teachings, and believing in the bible and its principles. a personal relationship is a love for Christ.
get a life... |

forget about the churches
too many religious people gathered in one place is a dangerous idea
i'm sure JC has his hands full, & you're just another in the crowd demanding special attention
here's an idea: start hanging out more reading & posting on this message board
bitch-slap the newb's so they learn their place |
