i'm sure many of you out there started your first day at a new position today. how's it going for all of you?

i realised that korean co-ordinators cant really co-ordinate their way out of a paper bag. So far i've just had the books put on my desk I am meant to teach, and I had to ask for every little bit of information (class sizes, homework, assessment etc). every question i ask seems to be met with an irritated response. a coworker said she was too busy to go over making the syllabus we need to plan for the classes we share

the foriegn teachers seem like a good bunch though, i'm sure this job will get much better when the first couple of weeks are over and i am settled in.

this is a uni position. first adult class for me is in an hour so i'm pacing the teachers room trying to relax enough to take the class

how's it all going for you?
