Hello,
My name is Bill. I'm thinking of taking a job with Incheon English Village. Here is the website: http://www.icev.go.kr/new_eng/new_enterance/enterance01_01.jsp
I am wondering two things: what is Incheon Metropolitan City like and how is the school?
If anyone works there or knows anyone that works there, please let me know.
Also, if you no nothing about the school or anyone that might, you can also give me your opinion based on the website.
I appreciate any and all appropriate responses.
Thanks, Bill |

I have a friend working there now. IMO the other villages offer better deals (eg. Paju or Ansan). I think the villages are kind of crap for a bunch of reasons but they are a very easy gig. No real teaching involved but a lot of the dancing monkey routine. One thing about ICEV and all of the other villages that I have heard about is they have a really high turn over rate. This is never a good sign, but if you are coming to Korea for the first time the villages offer an easy year until you can find a better job. |
