I noticed more than 1 place has asked for copies of my passport. Can I just give them a photocopy? Is an actual copy from the state necessary? Or is this just all a scam? I'm not too keen on giving information besides my address, email, pic, and phone #. Identity theft ain't no joke. |

A simple scan or photocopy is satisfactory. Do NOT send your original because you will need it to obtain your visa in your home country and to get on a plane.
They need the scan/photocopy of your passport to veryify that you are from one of the accepted countries to qualify for an E2 and to begin the visa process.
Immigration wants (to begin the visa confirmation process):
copy of passport
resume
passport style photos
actual degree or Korean consul certified copy
SEALED university transcripts
documents from the employer |
