Hi
I was wondering. Do English teachers at public schools use the textbook much? And how do they use it? Is it used as a rough guide, or do we have to stick rigidly to what is prescribed in the textbook?

I use the GEPIK guides in conjunction with the lesson plans they have drawn up. I do not stick rigidly to it but I try to keep within the intent of the lesson. I often modify on the fly as circumstances demand but still cover the required material. |
