Wow! that looks almost identical to what I made on Thursday, only, I peppered the heck out of the mash, chopped the green peppers fine and cooked the meat medium well done instead of your bloody juicy way. And chased it all down with a bottle of red wine, well it was pomegranate wine, but at least it was red! |

I've actually never made mashed potatoes. I like them though.
Is that Korean beef?
Where did you get the steak spice?
I have to learn how to get the right cut of steak at the supermarket. The way they cut it isn't the best. The little round ones are pretty good. Might be shoulder? Expensive as hell though.
Also need to get a digital camera, so I can take pictures like that. Might just do the all in one thing and get a state of the art cell phone with picture taking ability.
I'm making big cheese burgers later with Korean ground beef. Good stuff. Bought 10,000 Won worth. Only using regular sandwich bread though. No hamburger buns in my town. Only have pepper and the spicy salt mixture for spices, but usually use pepper, pod chilli spice, and garlic powder.
Onions (raw, sliced thinly), mustard, and ketchup.
Also out of Heinz. Have to go a half an hour into the next town to get Heinz, pod chilli spice, garlic powder, and hamburger buns.
Also only have the honey mustard. Like regular mustard much more. Might have it at one place here, but I don't think so.
Oh well. Still going to be good. And HUGE. |

Really...is that the best you can do?
I like to start with something like this...
No those aren't the screaming kids from your Let's Go! 6 class encased in delicious gelatin, they're olives!
Then for the main course...my famous Bulgogi Splat-A-Cake.
And finally, dessert!
I dry these tempting Pubis Puffs to added crispness with a hair dryer.
Yes, I do cater parties on occasion.

Australian Beef, picked it up at Homever. It wasn't the best cut, but it was pretty damn tasty. Montreal Steak Spice can be purchased at Costco. |

I took the trip to Costco yesterday and picked up some Aussie steaks.Paid 25K for 6.Not the best but ok.About 45 for top grade steaks.
Fried them up in lurpak butter, heated some tortillas and had that with hot wholegrain mustard anju style with my wife and sister-in-law with hot sake.As Flava Flav might put it "It touched me right here, and all that"(hand to heart)
What's Montreal steak spice?A garlicy seasoning salt?
I've also never made mashed potato.Do you include cream as you're mashing?Or creme fraiche(sp?)
Almost got the sour cream from Costco(Danish Milk company).5K for 1kg.Quite a lot(quantity) but I don't know what it's like.It could just be thick yoghurt. |

I add milk to the potatoes as I mash them. The sour cream is sour cream and pretty good - you can also get denmark sour cream at Lotte Mart (seoul station)
Montreal steak spice packaging is different at Costco. |
