Lads, there are some allmight flaws in your sides, the first of which is picking Bond he will not play all of the first three games. When NZ beat ENG he will be rested for the next two. Smith humm I am not sure abt SA captains in world cups and finally you have to have your allronder as the captain, captain gets double points.
Heres the trophy
1. PONTING, Ricky
2. YOUSUF, Mohammad
3. PIETERSEN, Kevin
4. LARA, Brian
5. KHAN, Younis
6. GAYLE, Chris captain
7. SANGAKKARA, Kumar wk
8. MURALITHARAN, Muttiah
9. NTINI, Makhaya
10. VETTORI, Daniel
11. KHAN, Zaheer |

Bond is odds-on equal favorite (with Ntini) to be the tournament's highest wicket taker. I know his fitness is doubtful, but the fact that the bookies are still backing him was enough to sway me. Point taken about Smith. I had De Villiers in there first, but Smith also bowls a bit and as a slip fielder usually collects more than a few catches. Allrounders are no sure thing to be the highest scorers. With so many minnows in the competition, coupled with those slow Carribean wickets, there are going to be some huge totals posted. The batsmen are going to dominate. |
