Is there an appreciable difference in cost between booking a flight 7 weeks in advance and 12 weeks or more?
I need to get a ticket to Poland. It will cost about US$2,000 I think.
But I want to wait closer to the date just to minimize the chances of something screwing up my departure dates.
I was under the impression that say past 2 months there was no real advantage to booking earlier and earlier. Am I mistaken? |

| While we're on the topic, does anyone know any good websites for finding cheap outgoing flights (for future reference)? I heard it's more expensive to buy tickets from inside the country. |

Aside from when to book, $2000 to Poland is REALLY expensive.
In fact, I just checked on daum.net for prices in mid-June and there are flights to Warsaw from 742,000 won and up. Both Austrian and British Airways have flights for under 1 million (but these prices don't include tax.) |

If you can't read Korean, give them a call. There are about 40 people on the phones at any given time and probably 25% speak English at a reasonable level. If you get one that doesn't, wait 10 minutes and call back.
To the OP, whypaymore is also showing summer flights (return) to Poland in the low 700k's. |
