Hello,

I am sure this information would be available in a search but I can't get the search feature to work for me here.

I need dill pickles, and a number of other food stuffs. But it seems impossible to find in this country. All I find are sweet pickles. It is very frustrating. Who here likes sweet pickles? They are the most revolting food on the planet.

I am living in Sokcho now so I would need a grocery store with a delivery service. I found http://www.hannammarket.co.kr but if they deliver you have to purchase a bus ticket and then wait at the bus station. Very aggravating. And you never really know what they have because they don't list everything on their website.

Anyone know of any other options?

If you can get to a Costco, they have them. I'm pretty sure I've seen them at some EMarts and Homevers, but if you really can't find them, you could try here.

Dill pickles are also sold in E-Mart, Homeplus and Homever, at least in my neighborhood. They aren't so conspicuous, but they're there.

Yeah, but they are not here so I need a workable solution that does not involve me going to Seoul.

You will find them here, but they're very expensive.

They're at HomePlus in Gwangju too, so I assume you'll find them at most HomePlus's. They're new though... I've only seen them recently.

WOW!! You're not kidding about the prices. But a little voice in the back of my head (well, one of them) is saying "Come on, it's not that much. You really miss those things too, don't you?"

There are a couple of onilne grocery stores that deliver to your door, but you'll need a korean to help. Not sure if they have pickles, but you can try. Why not just take a trip to a big city and stock up? They'll keep forever
