Men's Patriot League Championship - Holy Cross vs. Bucknell. My Uni is again in the finals

Bucknell spirit is in full force around the country this week, as we prepare to watch the Bison Men's Basketball team - one of the smartest teams in college basketball - take on the Holy Cross Crusaders for the Patriot League Championship. The game will be played on Friday, March 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and will be broadcast on ESPN2.


What's at Stake?
*** The longest winning streak in Bucknell men's basketball history, which this team would tie with a win over Holy Cross. *** The third-longest winning streak in the nation - which Bucknell now shares at 14 with Ohio State. *** Bucknell's shot at its third straight Patriot League Championship - and NCAA bid.

What's Not at Stake?
Bucknell's student-athlete success. Again, this year's team features seniors (Abe Badmus, Donald Brown, and Chris McNaughton) who will graduate on time. Already, the Bison have 104 Patriot League Scholar-Athletes, more than twice the next-highest total.

Now it's time for another championship.
