For whatever reason, I'm receiving a check/cheque from a university in Vancouver. Since they insist on paying me that instead of wiring the money into my bank account, I wanted to know if anyone was able to cash a check here in Korea at their own bank. If not, where can I go to do it? Will the post offices to do it? Is there a fee? Or, is it easier doing it at your own Korean bank if you have an account with them? Thanks.
