Does anyone have both or either of these items? I would prefer a phone with caller ID. An all-in-one combo would be great. |

I have a digital answering machine, but the cord is American style. I'm looking for 10-15,000. Let me know if you are interested and I'll send pics. |

Cordless phones are just crazily overpriced here.
100,000 won for a no-name brand, where a named brand would cost you 1/3rd that back home. |

Korea rips its people off like crazy. I don't know if it's because of the import tarrifs, or because there's little room for price competition.
I wanted to buy a laser printer, and the model I was looking at I found at Emart for 199,000W. Back home the same Samsung model (although refurbished) is going for $68.00 CDN (that's like 54,000W).
For a list of what cordless phones are going for back home, check out this site:

It surprizes me how crazy prices are out here. When I go home this summer, I'm shopping for all kinds of goodies, and then bringing them back with me.
Cheers,

Are cordless phones really all that necessary here?
~I use my cell phone for 103% of all communication
~I could get all 4 walls, the ceiling, and the floor wet in my place with just one average sneeze. |

Cordless phones are not a needed here, but I have a three bedroom apartment and living alone. So i have plenty of space. |

Same here... not needed, but nice when you get a bigger place.
And I've noticed that the base-style phones here have VERY short cords. |

Just buy a new cord! They are cheap. |

Eku, I meant the cord from the handset to the phone... it's short, and cannot be removed or changed. |
