Did anybody besides Jaderedux catch the protests in I'taewon and Hannam-dong?

I was over that way from 12:30 until about 2:30pm today around the area of the Hamilton Hotel. We didn't see any protests. Where specifically was it?

I live right by the Hyatt and Noksapyeong station, and while I've seen lots of police officers in this area over the past few days, I haven't seen any protesters.

Didn't see them there, but they really screwed up the traffic patterns in Kwanghwamun on Saturday night.

I saw it on T.V. and had to just laugh.. poor Korean cops.. bunch of women.. they are outnumbered maybe what 3.. 4 to one maybe more.. trying to beat these protesters with their shields and a water cannon..

Then I think back to the states.. protest= tear gas..(lots) pepper spray (lots)= crowd disperses protest over.. just me but seems easier on the protesters and the cops..

Heck if they have more of these protest fight night.. popcorn and soju taking bets on the cops or the protesters

ahh miss the time on the beat.. .

Me too. I wondered why all those young boys/policemen were camped out at Itaewon station. I thought they just had a surplus and had put them there to give them something to do.

There's always been tons in the area though- the Ministry of defense is just up the road from Noksapyeong station and there was always a bus or two in that area

no (I repeat) absolutely no protests in Itaewon at the Hyatt. I don't know what they showed on TV but it wasn't up at the Hyatt. Classic case of reactionism and overkill... Confused
