There is going to be a KOTESOL YLT SIG conference!

Date: 10th March
Time: 1-6pm
Place: Kyungpook National University in Daegu

Theme: Creating Young Learner Materials

As you can see from the theme, it is going to be a very practical conference for people who teach young learners and teens (so it is very applicable even if you are teaching middle or high schoolers!).

CALL FOR PAPERS is still open if you want to present. PM me for further details!!!!!!!

What's SIG?

Will it be a fairly even split between teens and young learners? I'm almost solely teaching kindergarten these days.

When do you have to become a memeber of KOTESOL, to go to the group.
I want to join the group and this conference sounds to be potentially very helpful but I have to wait for payday on the 5th. Is there a way to pay the day of the conference? If so, how do you get to the university the conference is at?

You do NOT have to be a member to attend this conference Smile

We welcome members but you don't need to feel pressurised into joining.

Members and non-members are all welcome to attend any KOTESOL functions!!!!!

Oh, and yes, you can join when you come to the conference.

I will find you a link to the KNU map.. not too difficult.

Very Happy

As you can see here:

It's not very far from Dong-taegu (Tongdaegu) railway station.
