And if you paid $100 for it in CHina they saw you coming....
My buddy bought 5 of those knock-offs when he was there and paid just over $60.00 for each of them. I wanted an Ipod video at the time, and he told me I could get a 30Gb one for around $150...but I chickened out because I heard the batteries last slightly longer than a good round of pool. |

Seriously. Sorry, ya got majorly ripped off in China. You shouldn't pay more than 300 RMB (<$40) max for those Chinese iPods. And that still leaves a 200% profit margin for 'em. An experienced (not-too-foreign-looking) haggler could get 'em for less than 200 RMB if buying bulk. |

mate, not to be offensive or argumentative, but this is false advertising.
your title says it's an ipod. and you don't mention the 'catch' until well into the story.
you should change the title of the thread to read imitation ipod. and instead of telling your story, just say that you bought an ipod copy in china and you're trying to sell it. just describe the ipod.
cut the story and lower your price. i'm looking for an ipod (which is why i opened your thread, again false advertising) ... and i wouldn't pay $100 for an imitation ipod REGARDLESS of how much YOU paid for it.
the price you paid doesn't have any relevance to what it's actually worth.
finally, you're = you are ... a teacher should know that. |

All ipods are made in China. But designed in California. So maybe he purchased the real deal.

All real ipods are made in China.
I bought an ipod in China.
So, my ipod is a real ipod.
Does anyone else see the logical fallacy in that argument?
I bought my nano from the States and the battery life sucks, and I don't even play pool! |

"Made in China" and "bought in China" are two ENTIRELY different things!
even made by the same company, the good ones get shipped internationally, the bad ones or factory rejects get sold in China.. plus the 10 companies that copy your product also sell them here |
