I am looking for songs that use �will� or �going to� future tense. I have found �you are going to loose that girl� by the Beatles but unfortunately it is pronounced �gonna� in the song. Can you think of any others?

I'm on my lunch break and will think of more but the only one with "will" that I can think of at the moment is I will always love you by Whitney Houston. Over the top, yes...but at least it isn't too raunchy

I just googled with the phrase "will" lyrics and got 33,900,000 hits so there must be other songs to be found. Good luck!

I was also thinking of Whitney, but then one has to be careful about whether the "will" used in the song functions as a future intention, or as something else, like a promise.

What's wrong w/ "goona" it's called a speech reduction and as all speech reductions they should be taught in a conversation class.

Slightly off topic but I think Beatles songs are really good for the classroom. My students enjoy the songs, figuring out the meanings of them and singing them a milion times until they are stuck in my head!
