There are some times where some things pop out of nowhere worrying the crap out of you. Well I was told at work that I had a massive bill to pay of which I have no idea how I have had the privilege of receiving.
I would appreciate if someone could tell me what the above is saying. I've paid all my bills and have been living in the same officetel apartment for a few months already. |

| The wife is still sleeping, but from what I see its from Shin Han bank saying you owe something for a 4 month period up until that March date. Let me look again, I should be able to give you a better idea in a few. |

| It is for 4 months of rent. Doesn't your school pay your house? If you just moved in and you pay the rent, then it is an indebted household due to the last occupant. |

| It's claiming your housing rental hasn't been paid for 4 months. |

Then your school isn't paying your rent.
You should copy this letter, keep it yourself, then show them the original (just in case they keep it and deny not having seen it later). |

OH man...... I hope you're not in for a rude awakening here.
Is the apartment in your name? |

| I wonder where the rent money's been going. Four missed payments? Is this the very first notice you've received? The landlord can boot your ass after 3 nonpayments. |

Looks like your school's trying to mess with you, unfortunately. They take the rent money out of your salary, don't pay the rent and then try play to the dumb foreigner card by saying you must play this bill despite you having had the money taken out of your salary and them not paying.
How's your relationship with the school been up until this point? Have they been above-board and professional, or have they been a little dodgy?
I'd definitely take tzechuk's advice and photocopy this as they will use your lack of prove against you in the future if they wish to be nasty, which by all accounts so far they probably would.
Let them know that you know what this bill is for. If they ask how you know either say that you looked up the Korean using a dictionary or asked a friend, and stay firm that to your knowledge your rent has been taken out of your salary under the condition they would pay it. Don't let them try to fool you or guilt-trip you somehow, just say that you're not responsible for the bill and that it's their responsibility to pay it.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes. I hope everything goes alright and that it doesn't turn messy.
It could be time to start looking around for another school as these guys don't sound particularly nice. |

| Yes, apparently you haven't paid your rent for a period of 4 months. The most worrying part (for the person who signed the contract and thus probably left a large deposit) of the note is the bit where it says the landlord could cancel the contract immediately if payment is delayed any further. This needs to be sorted quickly. |
