|
Hi everyone,
I will be working in Pyeongchon and was wondering if anyone out there had any info about it. How's the night life in Pyeongchon? are there any clubs? There seems to be this one pedestrian only street that has a lot of bars and restaurants....
where do people usually go to meet others? whats the happening part of town?
thanks for any info! |

you mean the subway line 4 stop next to indeogwon and byeomgae (i know i didn't spell those right) and near to anyang station?
not much going on in pyeongcheon. just around the corner at anyang station there is a bit more happening. there used to be a "foreigner bar" not sure if it's still open.
otherwise it's about an hour by bus/subway to gangnam, itaewon or hongdae or 40 minute bus across to bundang. |

There are 100s of bars, restaurants, clubs (no real good ones imo), shops
you name it it's there.
If you get bored of beomgye (one main foreigner club plenty of bars and hofs), there is anyang il bon ga (first street) a 3000 taxi ride away (lots of korean clubs, many of which don't let foreigners in, booking clubs and even more restaurants. There is sanbon a 3-4000 won taxi ride away has a few bars. |

Pyeongchon is the best place in the area to live.
Tons of great people, bars, restaurants, and the perfect proximity from Seoul.
Good choice. |

Anyang is a pretty cool city. It's probably my favorite in Gyeonggi-Do. As posted earlier, Beomgye and Anyang station are the two most lively night life areas. Another cool place is the Anyang art park. There's a small river/stream/brook in a pretty scenic area with restaurants and a few bars along the banks. Definitely a good place for a date. |
