I have been considering this for a little while. But I because I always find it so hard to get good information I haven't followed through yet. I am a young guy (23) and I want to know if anyone here knows the ins and outs of modeling here. Are there good agencies? Can you do part time work on an E-2 Visa. Is there a visa you can get for full time modeling work? What is the average pay rate? What kind of opportunities exist? Is it feasible to work soley as a modeling without having another part time job?

If anyone could shed some more light on the matter I would greatly appreciate it.

When I was 35 and a handsome guy in shape, there was a lot of work at 50k plus per hour.

Right now, I'd suggest doing what I did: looking around Englishspectrum.com and asking for work. Trust me, you'll get some offers for modelling and acting jobs.

Its illegal for E2s. Sorry. I would imagine that you would have to get a performer's visa to model, but I don't know a whole lot about that. I can't imagine that it would pay much. They tend to import russians for whitey jobs that don't require teaching English.
