Get in on it kids...

This is probably the most unpredictable tournament there is (which makes it one of the best)..

Even you people born on the wrong side of the ponds could probably have a decent chance of winning...

Not all the teams have qualified yet, and the brackets obviously haven't been set, but join now to get in on the fun...

I'm pretty positive that a couple of you basketball-ignorami will beat the so-called experts...

Has to be the biggest snub in the history of the NCAAs. It's punishment for being in the best conference in the country. It shouldn't have been "cinderella," it should have been a given.

I never got why its so interesting. The level of play sucks. You have scores like 60-55 because the level is so bad the guys cant make easy shots.

HAHAHAHA Wow. In the history of the tourney? Wow.

They had a record of 105 teams with 20 wins this year, where the previous record was 78. Try sorting that out!

The tournament was never meant to be the 65 best teams, you know that.

Really? I could have sworn that after the automatic bids were handed out, the remaining at-large bids were meant to be given to the best teams to not recieve automatic bids.

Also, getting 20 wins in the Colonial is a large step away from winning 20 in the ACC.

No, you have scores of like 60-55 because the games are shorter and there is usually more passionate defense.

jinju: Or because they actually play defense, and a team offense, instead of lazily watching the show and dunking on each other uncontestedly. Oh, and the game is shorter, too. Do you really need to watch 200 mindless points in a game that always comes down to a 10-minute final 30 game-clock seconds that crowns a meaningless winner of an 82-game season?

Why? Because it's a bunch of kids playing their asses off for the love of the game. Because there's no Ron Artest. Because you might never hear from a guy or a team again if he misses this shot, and you might remember both forever if he makes it. Because you have absolutely no idea who will make the Final Four. Because David regularly sleighs Goliath...

Have to go to work...

Hoy, they were 5-12 against RPI top 50 teams. And they only had 7 wins in the ACC, not 20. Tough conference, sure, but they didn't do anything impressive within it.

And the selection committee doesn't try to put the best (ie most talented) teams in the tourney as at-large bids, they put the most deserving in, based on what happened (at least in theory). The notion of the auto-bid means that the tourney is never the best 65 teams. That's the beauty of it.

hey Syracuse has nothing to complain about, they played nobody out of conference, heck they barely left home. They couldnt even get a 1 seed in the NIT!!!!!! Same with K-State. Drexel yeah their out of conference was good but finishing 4th in the CAA???

The mid majors got shafted big time again. HTF do Stanford and Arkansas get in over Missouri St. and Applac. St.

Team that got the biggest shaft was Akron. 26 wins, leading the MAC final with 6 seconds left and lose on a bank shot at the buzzer that may or may not of been good since the clock didn't start when the person touched the ball and they get NOTHING!!!!! No NCAA and No NIT. OUCH!!!!

My pick, right now I like a rematch of the BCS title game OSU-Fla and depsite my feelings toward OSU (I root for Dayton in hoops as thats where I went to school but we dont have a D 1 football team), Fla will win. Watch out for Texas and Georgetown, both teams are playing really well
