Hello-
My husband and I are wanting to return to Korea to teach and I was wondering if there was any way we could arrive and then wait a few days before we actually start work. I know this isn't the norm but have any of you heard of schools letting you adjust for 2-3 days before working? I'd also still want them to pay for the plane ticket. |

Come the day before a national holiday, like I did.
Coming two days earlier wouldn't normally be a big problem. The only issue is whether the previous occupant of your apartment will be gone and it will be cleaned. |

I arrived on a Thursday morning for a Monday start. The director told me that I would be picked up and taken to a hotel, but would have to pick up the tab until I started work.
Fair enough, I thought.
