Can one get through via KB a charge card even if it is secured, so a foreigner, like myself, can buy things on-line? |

Double-post. Deleted. I have now blown my attempt at brevity. |

KEB provide a secured 'credit card' for foreigners.
Don't know if that's any help. |

You put down, in a secured account, more than your balance. As I remember it, there is a minimum of 1,000,000 won, for which you would get a balance of 900,000. The money is just for security and sits in the account building interest. Not a bad deal. But you do need to bring in paperwork from your place of employment proving your level of income. If you do it in Itaewon, you can do it yourself. If you do it elsewhere...well, I don't know if you can. |
