https://www.koreaherald.co.kr/site/data/html_dir/2007/03/21/200703210021.asp?kpage=3&kppage=0&scode=FB&art_id%22=

So now that we've absorbed last year's "gas tax" into the regular price of an airline ticket, they're not adding another gas tax surcharge to international flights.

Price for me to fly home before last year's "gas tax": 1,200,000 won. After last year's tax and price hikes: 1,500,000 including the tax.

This year, the base price is 1,500,000 with no gas tax (same exact route, time of year, etc.).

Now we'll have another tax... guessing 200,000 again, like last year.

This is really starting to piss me off.
