Can anyone help me out of this pickle? Wink

I am longing for chutney to add to my super special Sunday breakfasts. I have kept an eye out at Costco, Emart and HomePlus to no avail... can anyone suggest a source for this delectable sauce?

Hi Matilda,

If you live in or close to Seoul theres a Pakistani supermarket next to What the book in Itaewon. I'm not 100% but give it a go. I recently got a load of bits for cooking curries.

Good luck

In Itaewon, there are at least three possible chutney vendors:
1) the South Asian grocery next to what the book,
2) a small Thai halal butcher right next to the mosque,
and
3) an international grocery store behind gecko's and the burger kind, on the corner, parallel to the main drag--same street as the wolfhound and the Austrian butcher.
Maybe in Hannam you could find it too, at the Hannam grocery store, or else maybe someplace near the indian or Pakistani embassies (which are, I believe, in Hannam.)
Alternately, it's not that hard to make, either. You can get some good recipes online and buy all the stuff you need (canned mango, spices, and maybe raisins and mint or whatever kind you want) at number 1.

I get mango chutney from that store regularly. I don't think they've ever been out when I've been in there.

Thanks for the advice!

Have now been researching a few fruit chutney recipes online... any recipe tips will be greatly appreciated.
