Does anyone know of a site that would have recordings of conversations, etc from different locations. e.g. Airport, like the speaker system announcing departures or arrivals etc.
The idea is to play a soundtrack that creates the noise or background conversation of a location and teach the students to understand the conversation that they are personally having while tuning out the irrelavent english that they are hearing and just listening to the english that they need to listen too.
Does anyone know of such a site or place I could get sound tracks that could provide an authentic background sound. It would be played to High School classes for a listening exercise. |

The Exploring English series has a lot of conversations that involve background noise. Or maybe you could try using movie clips? |
