Anybody know anything about short-term contract extensions? Namely, I'd like to know:
-Procedure
-Length of extension allowed (I heard a rumour you're only allowed to extend for up to 1 month)
-Does it extend the re-entry visa that currently exists in my passport?
I'm sure this has been covered, but I did a search and it returned a whole slew of results, most of which were completely unhelpful.

Contract extensions can be from a few days up to a full year.

You will need your new contract / extension with finish dates clearly indicated.
Your passport
Your ARC
Copy of your bosses business registration
Guarentor paper from your boss
30k won for the extension
An application form (tick the box at the top for "extend period of sojourn")
+50k won if you want to extend your re-entry permit at the same time (saving you a trip to the immigration office later). On the same application form as you can also tick the box for re-entry permit.

.

As always ttompatz is right on the money.
I just thought that I would add if you are a British citizen you don't need to pay for your visa extension or your re-entry permit.
