Anyone have a link? I missed the fight and my students won't stop talking about him getting dropped like a moldy sack of tangerines. I can't find any footage online of the fight.
*UPDATE*
Just found it on YOUTUBE

That knock out punch was amazing.. Mo threw it and couldn't even see where it was going as he is looking past Hong and down at the mat. The look on Hong's face is all, "wut wut wut.. durr.. wut??"
Good for Hong being a decent sport though and not ruining the moment with some hangookin bawling. |

A big over hand bomb was clearly the only way Mo could have KO-ed him. I'm amazed that he would step directly into the lane of that punch and then turn his head away. Maybe now Krankenstein will learn to circle AWAY from the power hand of guys like Mo. |

Thing is, Choi Hong Man barely even threw a punch. |

This was covered here last week under the title "props to Mighty Mo" http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=80990
"Mighty Mo" really made a name for himself by knocking out another popular Korean fighter a couple days later ...
It was considered a big upset by some, but Mo has a couple other impressive wins on his record (including a decision over Remy Bonjasky, who had beaten Choi...) Hongman also reportedly fought with an injured ankle. Because of that, I think that Choi would probably win a rematch if he's at the top of his game...

Not like Mo had a box to stand on or anything of that sort. So yeah.. but definitely Hongie should have had the sense to realize that he just had to avoid Mo's strong side. Keep mo moving while clipping him with Jabs to the head with those long old freaka zoid arms of his. Mo didn't look like he was doing so hot.. as if the fight had gone on much longer oxygen and a wheel chair would have been needed. |

I was very happy to see Choi get put to the mat.
I don't think much of him as a fighter, he's just big. He's fought some pretty average fighters for wins, and when he got in the ring with quality [Remy Bonjasky & Jerome Le Banner], he lost [although by decision]. He's fought Akebono what, 3 times?!
Mighty Mo throws a hard punch. That over-hand is somewhat a specialty of his, he dropped that other Korean fighter the other day with the same punch... |

Choi Hong Man is not a good figher, in the technical sense. Like others have said, he is just big. His great defense is that he is tall, so he is hard to hit. Just like me fighting a grade 6 kid. I am not a great fighter, but I am not going to lose to a grade 6 kid even if he is an amazing fighter. |

I'd like to see him in the WWE.
Actually, he seems to lack the outgoing personality needed for that job. |

I would love to see Hongie fight Ray Sefo. My money would be on Sefo. I've never seen him get knocked out. |

I counted at least three, arguably four, lead left hooks from Hongkenstein in the first round! Who the hell is training this guy? I have only ever seen one fighter able to consistently pull off lead left hooks, and that's Floyd Mayweather jr. |

He gets knocked on his ass.
PS. Mighty Mo's coach is obviously better than Choi's. He had him throwing fast powerful punches at Choi's jaw and then anticipating Choi's knee with a block whenever he moved in close. |

Choi sucks.. He is a unskilled fighter. He has no coordination/speed or endurace. He isn't even mediocre.. |

Choi needs to spend more time training and less time playing silly games on lame TV shows. |

I was happy to see him get knocked out just for his dumb @ss, sideways hat wearing, poor rapping, bee-bopping entrance to the ring. Ankle seemed to be fine as he was dancing up the aisle. Seems like the ankle "injury" may have been a pre-emptive excuse for a fight they weren't too sure hed win. |
