I was looking at the CCCK website for the 2007 Canada Day
party. This year the ticket is 22,000KRW AND food is NOT
included. Is this a joke? Did anyone go last year? What was
Nanji Camping Ground like? I usually go every year but I
missed last year.
I am thinking of putting this event into the "things I have done
but will never do again" folder. |

Actually, that's not bad. I went last year and it was about the same price.
I paid 35,000 won for enterance, an Outback burger meal with fries and a brownie. 2 Molson Canadian beers were included. Thee was a snack tent giving away unlimited Burger King chicken tenders, Dole fruit cups and bananas. You could also buy more Molson Canadians for 3,000 won each as I recall.
You paid a lot, but you got a lot too. The Nanjin Camp ground was a nice place for the party and there was a Canadian band doing rock covers including Tragically Hip and other Canadian bands.
Most of the people who went had a good time.
Seems like they have separated the enterance fee from the food fees this time 22,000 won enterance + food fee). No mention of beer on the site, so I don't know what the arrangement is for that this time.
Anyway, I don't think it's a bad deal. Same amount of money you'd spend on a night in Itaewon, right?
