Boston vocalist Delp found dead
The lead singer with US band Boston has been found dead at his home.
Brad Delp, who was 55, sang the vocals on a string of mainstream rock hits from the 1970s, including More Than a Feeling and Long Time.

Police in New Hampshire confirmed they discovered Delp's body after receiving a call to his home on Friday afternoon.

Lt William Baldwin said there was no indication anyone else was involved in the death, with the cause still to be determined by the medical examiner.

The band's website has been taken down and replaced with the simple message: "We just lost the nicest guy in rock and roll."

That guy had quite the voice.

Thus far his death sounds fishy Idea

It is unacceptable to lose him. I feel like he had such a great voice, he had one of those voices that you felt talked to you kind of like Billy Joel and America. Frankly, I think a lot of the music out there is too electronic. Hip hop does have a nice beat, but it is too much just like an adrenaline rush rather than well-thought out pieces or thoughts.

On March 14, 2007 Delp's family revealed that his death was a suicide and he was found in his apartment by his girlfriend. His family gave no other information. [10] Associated Press reported that, according the the New Hampshire medical examiner, Delp's death was the result of carbon monoxide poisoning. [11]
Delp had consideration for the one(s) that found him by leaving notes on doors warning them about the carbon monoxide. Delp sealed the doors of the master bath with towels where two charcoal grills were used to generate the killer gas. [12]
www.WMUR.com [2] has the most details found so far.

I suppose he must have been suffering from some kind of ailment or psychological problems, and decided to end it all.
