Mine are totally destroyed; They are constantly making my clothes gross. Can I buy them at E-Mart-uh? I can't find them in my local stores. Also, besides laboriously picking them off with my fingernails, is there an easier way to get the lint blankets off? Is there a "tool" to aid in the removal? I already tried a general small lint brush and it did nothing.
Thanks!

Hey, Molly. I have a lint-removing roller from Costco that does the job. Uses a roll of tape where you tear strips off when they're used up/filled with lint/no longer sticky. Looks like a small paint roller.

Picking lint off blankets, no fun. If you can't get that roller, I think you'll just have to wash the blanket a few times in a machine with a properly working lint filtre.

Replacing the lint catcher...

How is it "destroyed"? Is it your washing machine (new, perfect) or did it come with your place (used, already broken)? What model is it? I'll see if I can find one.

You can buy these round lint-catcher balls to put in the laundry, too.

Check the brand name of your washer and bring the lint catcher to their nearest store/service center.

If its LG or Samsung (Tromm or Hauzen) it should be easy, but if it's a different brand or an older washer, then you can struggle a bit more.

It came destroyed because of its previous owner. Sad

This is a good question. My lint catcher is missing entirely. How do I say "lint catcher" (or whatever the name of the piece is) in Korean? And would I just go to the nearest Samsung / LG "digital plaza"-type store to get a new one?

You can just say "PIL-TUH" (filter). Samsung calls it "MEH-JIK PIL-TUH" (magic filtre Rolling Eyes ). Some also have a little mesh bag or net to trap the muck, called the "GEO-REUM MANG". (that's also what they call the plastic muck trap in your kitchen sink)

You could. Or you might try finding a customer service number on their website, give them your model number and take it from there.

Where are they located? Not sure what a "drum" washer is, but if you have one that loads on the top, you'll see two lint catchers on the sides inside the machine. Easy to see, they're two little nets that slide up and down. If it loads from the front there will be---in the case of mine---a small thing that slides out the front. So, basically look for any small part that slides out or comes off.
