I'm looking to spend maybe 30000 to 50000 won a night. I would like to be on Alona beach but if other people have any recommendations I'd like to hear them. I will need Aircon.. most sites that I found, have high priced resorts starting at 60-180 US a night. |

There are lots on the beach and in town.
ON THE BEACH
I like alona tropical. Fan cottage on the beach with the sea breeze is php1200 per night (about $25) and includes the american style breakfast for 2. Aircon rooms are about $40. The deluxe suites beside the pool are about $100.
Alona Kew is not bad. Rooms from $25.
Lost Horizon is OK and has aircon from $35.
A nice resort in town is Bohol Tropical with aircon rooms from $25 and deluxe rooms for $50ish.
If you want to go deluxe in the city the Metrotown hotel in Tagbilarn has the penthouse suites for $80 per night. Includes breakfast and spa use.
Unless you are traveling on the easter weekend or XMAS there are no shortage of cheap rooms.
Get there and take a walk down the beach. The only place to avoid (super hight priced) is the Alona Palm resort. The prices you get by calling from in town (Tagbilaran) when you get there are 15-75% cheaper than the posted internet prices.
Just for the record, I have stayed in all of the facilities listed above.

| I will back up what Ttompatz has to say, I even took his advice when I went. I will correct one thing though, and of course it could change in the non-really-busy-season, but Alona Kew was starting at about $45 a night for their most basic rooms. We were looking to use them, but just stayed at Alona Tropical because it has a better location and has a much better price. |

Only if you spank me and call me your little princess like you did last time.
Isn't it amazing what you can get past the swear filters with a little imagination? |
