i used to have a modded xbox(not 360) and i could copy games straight onto the hard drive and all, i got drunk and smashed it because it wouldint work anymore and i need a new modded one, where should i go and how much should i pay, i have a modded 360 but i cant do nothing on it besides play copied games. i want to have a hard drive and be able to play n64 games and all that

Well you can check this forum. Old Xboxes and PS2s pop up all the time, but at ridiculous prices sometimes. Most want 150K++ for their ancient machines because they got a bunch of copied games to go with it. My opinion is you shouldn't pay any more than 80k for an old modded Xbox (games irrelevant as you can down them very easily...whole sets of them, in fact)
I'd like to know anyplace in Busan that might sell these modded consoles... |

Not one single game came with my modded xbox when i bought it. Do you have any idea how much time it would take to download 100 xbox games? Let me enlighten you. The data for each game averages about 2 gigs more or less. Each game takes about 2 - 4 hours to download depending on your speed and where its comming from. Lets average 3 hours per game (some i've had 10+ hours). I had over 100 games. 100 x 3 hours = 300 hours . Then you have to rar up those files and then burn it. Lets add another 100+ hours on top of that. Now your at 400 hours and thats if every single game you burn works.. which is not the case. So therefore add another 50 hours because your bound to run into either; burning problems, games doesnt rar up, game unpacks but the iso doesnt like the burning software OR you need to download another burning program that likes that iso file OR in some rare cases its a fake. Trust me it isnt a walk in the park.
Now your at about 450 hours / 24 hours = 18 + days. Let me knock that number down to 15 days. That would mean it would take a person 15 days @ 24 hours straight to download, unpack, burn the game and not to mention load it up on the xbox to make sure it works, god forbid there are any problems. So lets take a long shot and say 1 game per day is downloaded , burnt and then u have a good working copy!
Thats over 100 days , averaging 1 game per day. Wow.. thats almost 4 months.. and i dont know anyone who downloads 1 xbox game everyday.. Lets just say it took me a long ^#$# time to get all those games.
I felt my xbox was worth 300,000 and thats exactly what i got. I had numerous pms about it and within a week it was gone!!

Just go into yongsan and buy a new one thats modded.. sure you'll pay more but while your there ask them to load a ton of games onto the hd.. i think 2,000 won per game is what they charge to have it on the hd.

btw.. i had just sold my modded xbox with over 100 dvd games and 200 + dvd movies, shows, ect.. not too mention i burnt off all the new sports games that were just released. The guy who bought it seems to be happy for the price he paid.

thanks alot for the info i think i will buy a brandnew modded xbox and have them put some stuff on it, then down load the games i really want
how much should a new modded x box run me at yongsan? |

I'm sure the people buying the modded XBOX's don't agree with your logic. Tha is unless they buy a modded XBOX to preserve copyright protection. |

I have most certainly copied things in my life.
I have never charged for the things I have downloaded or copied.

I have borrowed my friend's car before.
I, however, didn't borrow that car, then turn around and sell it to someone else. 
The fact that you spent hours online downloading it doesn't mean a thing to me. You can download a whole slew of games at once. Not difficult. |

modded xbox with 5 copied games ( of your choice) for 90,000 won
OR
modded xbox with no games for 80,000 won

I'd rather buy new and download them myself for free than to buy a used unit, personally.
If you were selling that used unit for a fair value, then I might consider it. |

That is so Wonjangnim style. Incredibly poor use of logic. It will take hours to do it yourself. For an extra 100,000, all the games you would ever need come with it. You can make 100,000 in a couple of hours and spend the extra 98 hours playing. I guess some people would rather waste time that utilize money wisely. Like a said, so wonjangnimish. |

You guys gotta remember LOL...this is a Pentium 3...Yes a Pentium 3 machine with 10 year old, outdated graphics. Nobody but a big tech noob is going to pay over a 100K for that!
...But there are obviously a bunch of "customers" out there with more money than brains. So these guys sell their 10 year old consoles for 300K...man, I've gotta start selling them for a living. I could make a killing. I would charge:
"1 million dollars!"
