getting away for the weekend to Gyreongsan (sp???) park and need some info. Lonely Planet says near the express bus terminal there are some good places. What about resturants (is Here Today still there?). Going to go to Gyereongsan Park etc

Last time I was there was 2002 for World Cup and I stayed in a love motel in Yuseong which was OK but want to be nearer the main town

Oh.. I was going to suggest that there are now some decent hotels up right next to Gyerongsan, if that's what you want.. but now you are saying that you want to be near downtown?

Hmmm... near downtown...

There are a few motels in downtown but they are not that great.

Actually, there are some right by the Anglican Cathedral that some friends stayed and they said it was OK.

You can actually walk to town from these motels but it takes about 15-20 mins. It's a 5 min cab ride.

If you want to go to these motels, just ask the driver to take you to *gang-byeon yeh-shik-jang* (강변예식장) and behind the place there are many motels.

ETA: by main town do you mean downtown or the new town of Dunsan?

Ah Dunsan is that areas name? new, across the stream from expo park? between downtown and yuseong? been a while since I've been there. any good places there to stay?

I thought the express/dong bus terminal area had some decent hotels. thought about out near Gyerongsan but besides the park theres not much out there want to be nearer the city

Last time I spent any time near the train station foreigners were hanging out at Palaminos i remember the area wasnt that great then for sleeping
