The change from a hot humid climate to a cold dry one has cracked my lips really badly.

I went on the look for a pharmacy on the way home from work yesterday. As I was walking up the street out of the corner of my eye I saw a green cross on a shop window.

So I went in and was wandering around a fairly open shop with goods on the wall looking for lip balm. The owner wandered over and asked in English what I wanted. So explained to him which caused a puzzled look.

I then realised that everything for sale around the walls was for cats and dogs. I had wandered into a vets.

Thats a great story!

In case you didn't find any, I still say the best lip balm is Petroleum Jelly. I usually buy mine at the grey market shops, but they might have it at the big marts. Nivea stick lip balm isn't bad either.
