You can purchase a legal copy from the microsoft website and receive it by downloading it. You can visit the Microsoft kiosk/shop at Yongsan market (terminal building - 3rd floor 4 stalls from the "pedway over the railyard").
You can get other unauthorised distribution copies with software like limewire ( http://www.limewire.com ) or torrents ( http://www.bittorrent.com ).
You can also get an unauthorized copy of MS-office from the street software vendors or in the tunnel at yongsan. |

You may want to download and install Open Office (www.openoffice.org). It's an open source (free) word processing program that comes with a built in program that creates and edits Powerpoint. Works great! |

I second the recommendation to get OpenOffice. OpenOffice's presentation program is called OpenOffice Impress and is wonderful. If you wish, you can download two copies of it: one in English and one in Korean. The website also has a free forum with free tutorials and free support.
I certainly don't advocate getting an illegal copy of PowerPoint. Come to think of it, I don't advocate getting an authorized copy of that lousy program anyway. |
