Does anyone know some bus routes to get from Bundang/Sungnam to ...? aywhere, basically!?!? There are so many dang things I want to check out and I only know the route (bus #'s) from Bundang to Insadong so far. Subways work, but they take forever....
If you have any info... I'd GREATLY appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks!!!

I just pulled this together from other threads . . . a lot of these buses stop near various subway stations in Bundang. You can find a listing of buses at the subway.
9414 - Goes to COEX Mall from Sunae.
9404 - Goes to Gangnam from Sunae.
1005-5 - Goes to Gwanghwamun, Insadong, and near enough to the palaces from Migeum/Jeongja/Sunae/Seohyeon.
77-1, 720-2 - Goes from Migeum Station to Suwon Station.
9403 - Goes to Grand Children's Park in Gwangjin-gu, from Seohyeon.
9409 - Goes to the 63 Building and near enough Han Riverside Park, from Seohyeon.
If you can read/type Korean, go to www.naver.com and type in the name of your subway station. 미금역 for example. You'll then get a profile of the station, and you'll see a list of buses that stop outside of the station. If you click on the bus numbers you get a list of where they stop. Here's the list for Seohyeon Station, for example: http://traffic.local.naver.com/Subway/StationInfo_Detail_Traffic.asp?CID=1000&LMenu=3&LID=100&SID=1528 |

Hey...just posted in a thread for a person looking for buses in Bucheon...so i just copied and pasted same thing here...
This the bus website..
http://bus.congnamul.com/SeoulRouteWebApp/view_english/map.jsp
Scroll around the Map (Using Move) and find the area you would like to take buses from..(Bundang area).
Then click on Route Search..which is on the left hand side of the page rather than Bus Search.. There is a Heading there- Buses Running in Your area...
The bus numbers and the color of the buses will come up..Green, Blue...Buses....and their number... Follow the bus route and you can find out where the bus stops are at(whenever you see a pic of a bus, or the letter B) and where the buses are going...
The map, routes, bus numbers and colors are very accurate.. |

I think the times on the site take into consideration any traffic....without traffic the run into Seoul from Bundang (to Itaewon) can be about 40 minutes.
I wouldn't take the 1005-5 to go to Insadong unless absolutely necessary because it's the milk run...it goes through all of the Yangjae/Gangnam area first.
9000
9001
9401
5500-1 all go to the Itaewon, Jongro's, Gwangwhamun areas.
Happy trekking. |
