Just found out I have to submit a few documents to the local PTA. Copies of my diploma, resume, Alien card, family reigister, ltter from my 6th grade teacher, medical certificate, and I need another sponsor for the school.
These document are going to a group of parents to peruse through, not immigration or the principal that hired me. I can see the wanting to look at my resume, but the other stuff??? What the heck do they want all my personal personal info for??? Anybody???

Anybody else have to do this?

See if the other teachers have to do it as well, if they don't then tell them no. it'll be confirming their beliefs that we are less than human and need to be screened thoroughly before teaching their precious.

No, and you don't have to either. It's complete and utter crap. Ask to see theirs as well because you want to know more information about the childrens backgrounds - it will help you teach them much better.
