So, I am thinking of splurging on a one-way ticket when my contract is up (my pathetic job does not cover my return airfare). Has anyone here got any tips on obtaining a great deal on a business or first class ticket? |

Got miles anywhere? If you have accumulated a few on one system you can often get bumped up even without using them.
You can also ask for YJ class. Business seats but economy service / meals.
A lot depends on when/where you are flying to.
I like Singapore Air and the prices aren't too bad for business class (as compared to some others). Cathay is reasonable too. EVA is on the list but not my fav for business class.
Depending on where you are going you can sometimes get a good deal on Philippine air (PAL) by routing through Manila. I had a flight that way for just over 3 mil in business class. (ICN-MNL-YVR). |

Go for Singapore Airlines. You can book through their website and avoid Korean travel agents. Even the economy class is pretty good, but the business class looked pretty sweet. |

Eva Airlines has a pretty good deal with their Evergreen class it is kind of like business class light and not much more expensive than economy. |

Some people also suggest booking two economy class tickets, especially if the seats have fold up arms. Two tickets can be cheaper than one biz class. You get room to stretch out. Not a lot of the other perks, tho. |

Thanks! I have been shopping around. There is quite a range of prices depending upon the website used. |
