Acronis True Image saved the day. I was playing around with the settings on my computer trying to tweak a little extra performance out of this hunk of crap, but I screwed up somehow. The result, 5 minute boot time. and then everything running really slow.
Fortunately for me I made a disc image back in january and restored my computer in 10 minutes. Everything works great the only thing I need to do is update my virus software, adaware, and windows update and then I'm set. I'll add a couple of programs I'm already missing and then make a new image.
10 minutes work vs a few hours. Fantastic. |
