I understand that I can get a legal part-time teaching job, as long as the schedules don't conflict. I have permission from my hagwon boss, so once I secure a position, I just have to take the appropriate paperwork into immi to get a "visa add-on" right? I have an E2. So far I've learned that I will need my boss to write a letter indicating his approval and listing my current work schedule. And I need to bring my hagwon contract and the part-time job contract. Anything else? Can I take care of this at immi myself, or should I bring my boss(es) with me?

Also, I have questions about general contract guidelines for these part-time jobs. I'm well aware of what to look out for with the full-time jobs, but this is different I think. So far I've received one contract, and I *know* it's a load of poop. I'm not desperate for a part-time gig, so I won't sign one until it seems pretty darn favorable! Some questions:

Penalty clauses are not legal for the full-time jobs, right? Same for part-time? (If so, this one needs to be COMPLETELY rewritten. It's quite hilarious.)

Taxes. I've heard that they can't withhold taxes for the part-time gig? So I assume if I end up owing taxes on it at the end of the year I just have to pay up on my own?

Do pension/severance apply to part-time jobs?

If there's a reimbursement for commuting expense (taxi), does that somehow get taxed? This one made it sound like the taxi money is just added on to my hourly rate. But I don't want to pay tax on that if it can be avoided (I know, I know, the tax rate is piddly anyway...)

Anyway, thanks for the help. I want to get some extra money - legally.
