Hello all,
Sorry for being vague but does anyone recognise the following organsiation:
AK/Public School, City Office Building #601, 1034-5
Jung4-dong, Wonmi-gu
Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do
420030 - South Korea
I spoke to them a couple of months ago about the possibility of work and they seemed genuinely very pleasant. Does anyone have any experience of working for them? Any negative/positive feedback?
For some reason, I've also have a bookmark for ATC (Avail Teachers Consultancy). Any knowledge/thoughts on these folk?
Many thanks for your help,

ATC are recruiters and they recruit for public schools and hagwons. I didn't like their approach to hiring and the guy on the phone was kinda strange. Still, they are legit from what I hear and one of the better recruitment companies out there. BoL to you.

ATC was not very helpful with my job search last year. I told them a number of times that I was not interested in working at a hagwon, yet they kept pushing me to sign with Avalon in Bundang. I know the ATC website is pretty helpful for a new teacher, but I think there are better recruiting companies for public schools than ATC. |

I had a good result from ATC.
They needed a few kick up the arses hear and there but no more than most Asians need when they are doing something for you.
95% happy with them. A few problems once I got here but that was down to the school and not being prepared. However I'm a big boy and can take care of things myself. |

| All I can say is my own experience, which was good. I got a great public school job through them, with a couple of unnecessary follow ups. They were pretty professional in the hiring stages, and I was never bothered once with offers that were outside what I told them I wanted. I did have a pretty good resume (even better now). |
