| I think I have fairly decent qualifications (PhD in English, CELTA, lots of ESL experience) and I'm thinking of trying to teach at a Korean uni in the fall. I'm teaching at a uni in China right now. I'm thinking of posting my CV on Dave's to try to generate some contact/interest from Korean uni's. I want to put my current position on my CV but I don't want them calling my current English department to ask about my work (they don't know yet that I may leave). Do you think they would? Thx .... mep |

It's highly unlikely that they would. A suggestion is post the name of your current workplace, but absolutely nil contact information. |

Thanks. It's good to know they probably won't call. But as for not posting the contact info -- I just checked my uni's website, and it's on there in the English version -- in fact, my boss' name and number is the main contact listed for the English dept. |
