[Fishead soup]

The other day I did something that I might have otherwise thought would be completly impossible. I did it with my extra after school class. I started a debate about U.F.O.'s. I used the material from a textbook by Jack Matire. It was called Small group discussing topics for High school Students and Beginners.

I must admit that the students in this class are of an unusually high standard and I would never have dreamed doing this with the regular 40+ students regular classes.

Does anyone out there have any stratagies for making a more communicative debate style class.
