I've got two gmail addresses, one personal one I use for 'business'. I know you can import yahoo accounts etc, into gmail, but can you import another gmail account into the display/body of another gmail account?

I can't seem to make it happen, and I'd really like to.

seems like a round about way but could you export one gmail account into the yahoo and then import back into the gmail?

you should write a "suggestion" to google about that. gmail is really good about implementing stuff like that into their e-mail to further separate themselves from their competitors.

There's an easier way to link two accounts.

While logged into the account you want to use as the "main" account (only for logging-in purposes), click on "Settings." Then click on the "Accounts" tab. Click "Add another email address," enter the email's name and address, then go to the next screen. Send the verification email to the account you want to add. Log into that account, accept the verification, and voila! all the email you send to both accounts will show up in your master account.

Now, whenever you send an email, you can choose which account to send it from. I've got my business and personal email accounts linked too. Works like a charm.

Ok,

Thanks to everyone for the responses.

I had already gone in through the settings section, and I've found a way to be able to do what I want and it seems to work well.

thanks for the input

One side note to this. There are some bugs with the combining of 2 gmail accounts. I've had it happen multiple times when replying to an email that it sent the reply from my main email. So if i'm trying to act all business with my [email protected] account but using that within my [email protected] account sometimes replying to mails sent to Formal will automatically reply from fUn, so be on the lookout.
