|
|
I have an old diploma still in the sealed envelope (I'll order new ones). I noticed that it doesn't have the college seal over the flap -- just the name of the registrar and the date. Is that okay rather than a seal, or it must be the seal? And if it has the seal, are the other two things just optional? (if so I'll probably request my school leave the other two things off as they will probably just cause confusion)
Thanks .... mep |

I don't think those minor details matter.
My diploma didn't even have my major on it. It just says "Bachelor of Science". |

I think your confused about the requirements
Your diploma does not have to be in a sealed envelope at all.
Your transcripts MUST be in a sealed envelope. I'm not totally sure about the stamps across hte flap, but if they will do it, I would have them put a college seal, a registrar's signature, and a date stamp (if you will be turning them into immi soon).
And the sealed transcripts detail matters a lot. Your application for a visa will be refused, if the transcripts aren't sealed to immi's requiremtns. I would suggest calling immi tofind out what constitutes " sealed" transcripts. |

Ugh -- my bad. I meant transcripts, NOT doplomas. Yeah, I need to find out specifically what they require for the seal.

Part of what made park english's post on the matter such a hilarious waste of time is that it simply pointed out the obvious. The transcripts must be sealed. The example of 'unacceptable' had been taped shut.
I brought extras, exactly the same as the ones I used for immi - I just checked and there is no registrar's stamp over the flap. Don't open the envelope and, stamp or no stamp, you'll be good to go.
Of course, if your uni happens to seal their transcripts with packing tape, you might have a problem |

I didn't have any problems with immigration. I had a sealed envelope with no seal or stamp on it. |
